Fundraising and User Retention with the help of Impact and Volunteer Dashboard
"I led a project at Democracy Lab that will raise funds from $2500 - $35000 in just a few months while boosting the volunteer's retention rate by 20-30%"

🚨 Dealing with an issue specific to a non-profit organization 🚨
No visibility of the activity and impact created by the Democracy Lab. The potential donors are sometimes hesitant to support financially because they are unsure of the effective usage of the funds and the difference it makes on the ground.
Volunteers leave the organization shortly after joining, with an average tenure of roughly three months. Additionally, there is a lack of visibility regarding the volunteers' contributions to the project.

📸 Glimpse of Existing Portals 📸
The below image illustrates the current appearance of the volunteer portal, which lacks the necessary information for volunteers and contains numerous empty spaces and redundant headings. Furthermore, clicking on the dropdown menu fails to initiate any action, even when selecting a time frame.
Additionally, on the Democracy Lab website's landing page or About Us section, there is a lack of information showing donors how DLab intends to utilize their funds or how they have been utilized in the past.
To address both of these issues, we will incorporate some impact information on the DLab website and we will be redesigning the volunteer dashboard.

✎ᝰ。Design, Sketch, Iterate ✎ᝰ。
To capture initial ideas without investing too much time and to identify issues and flaws in the current design, we created sketches first and discussed how we can approach the lo-fi and hi-fi designs.

Phase II and Phase III are currently ongoing. They incorporate a meeting notes feature, display other pertinent projects, and enable sharing of achievements on social media platforms. Additionally, efforts are being directed towards enhancing the accessibility of Impact dashboard metrics through color schemes; presently, it does not meet the WCAG AA color contrast standards.
